In 2008 new owners acquired the former bed and breakfast located on the property, and re-opened it as
Quiet Walker Lodge Bed and Breakfast Inn a few months later. After remodeling the rooms and performing some extensive maintenance to the exterior of the thirty year old lodge, our first customers arrived in August of that year.
A revitalized Dubuque bed and breakfast

Here is what some of our guests have said about Quiet Walker Lodge Bed and Breakfast Inn:
“My husband wanted to get away from it all. Quiet Walker Lodge was just the right place for this. It is very secluded and surrounded by nature. A short distance away was a 25 mile nature trail that we hiked along. This would be a great place to bike as well. Mike and Carol are great hosts and made our weekend special.” October 11, 2009
“The 2-year anniversary celebration was entirely left up to my partner. He would not tell me where we were going, only what I needed to pack and how long we would be gone. As we drove up the gravel driveway to the lodge, my heart SANG! We were immediately greeted by Carol, one of the innkeepers at the lodge and she referred to us by name. She showed us the lodge, where she had baked us cookies (still warm from the oven) and showed us our room. We stayed in the Secret Garden room, with the 6' waterfall, king sized bed and the heart shaped hot tub. There was no detail missed, everything was perfect! I would highly recommended this B&B to anyone that asks and I know we will be going back often!” July 14, 2009
“My husband and I went to the lodge with friends of ours (two other couples). It was a fun, relaxing weekend! We loved the personal touches by the owners. We had a great time as a group sitting in front of the fireplace at night sipping hot apple cider, talking and laughing. We would definitely love to come back. We stayed in the Secret Garden room. We loved the hot tub and the king size bed!” February 26, 2009
