Wedding parties have placed tents on the lawn area and have catered in food for the reception (for example, many elect to use Hy-Vee for their catering needs). Couples have stayed at the lodge which has 9 suites available for wedding parties.

Another choice is having the wedding and reception in the meeting room of the Wakatanka House. Here you can have tables and chairs for your guests and let the caterer worry about the details.
