Reservation Policy
Reservations can be taken online or by phone. All reservations are confirmed in writing. Master Card and Visa accepted. No checks accepted for payment within 14 days of the arrival date. We are a smoke free Lodge and smoking is only allowed outside.
Quiet Walker Lodge Bed and Breakfast does not meet the needs of children under 17 years of age, and children under 18 require the approval of the innkeeper before booking. Pets are not allowed. Quiet Walker Lodge is not responsible for personal property damage or loss.
Please note that Quiet Walker Lodge is privately owned and privileges of its use are discretionary with the management.
Rates of Suites
The rates and policies of Quiet Walker Lodge reflect the ambience and quality of our beautiful, romantic suites. Our inn is one of the few lodging facilities in the Midwest where you can plan your own special occasion. Surprise your sweetheart and make them feel like a queen or king for a day.
Cancellation Policy:
There is a $25 handling fee for all cancellations of credit card transactions prior to 72 hours before scheduled arrival time. If notice of cancellation is given within 72 hours of arrival, or within five days for holidays, the full amount of the room(s) will be charged to you. A gift certificate will be issued for the full amount of the reservation, subject to availability, and is valid for one year from the date of issue. If payment is made by cash or check, our cancellation policy requires 14 day notice prior to 3pm CST of reserved date for cash refund. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellations and dismissal of the handling fee is at the descretion of QWL Innkeeper. Sorry No Exceptions. This cancellation policy is fair, but firm.
Winter Storm Policy:
In the event of severe winter weather and it is necessary to cancel a room reservation with less than advance notice (as determined by Quiet Walker Lodge) a gift certificate for the full amount of the reservation will be issued to you and is subject to availability up to one year from the date of issue.
Towel-Linen Exchange Program
In order to help conserve water and energy, we will launder bed linens and towels every third day of a guest's stay unless requested otherwise by the guest.
Damages
Quiet Walker Lodge is not responsible for lost or stolen property. The registered guest will be responsible for any damages found during and after your departure. Any unusual damage will result in an itemized invoice and subsequent charges made to the credit card on file.
Gift Certificate Policy:
Surprise the person you love with a gift certificate for a romantic getaway at Quiet Walker Lodge Bed and Breakfast! Gift certificates may be purchased for any amount you desire. They are valid for one year from the date of issue and have no redeemable cash value. Gift certificates may be purchased by check, cash, or credit card. |
